If you bring us your artwork, you can use any packaging you feel comfortable with or purchase a reusable art bag and make an appointment to come and see us here.
If you would prefer to send us your artwork, please contact us for an idea of pricing and an estimate. Once you've done this, please register an account and follow the guidelines below.
1. Packing your artwork
Paintings, canvases or framed artwork
We advise using a same-day courier/transport for fragile artwork that has glass or cannot be rolled or packed flat - here are our tips to transport your art to us safely using this method:
Using soft pack art bags:
We recommend a reusable art bag for protecting artwork and frames. This makes it quick and easy to send us your artwork using a same-day courier and for us to open and re-pack. If a frame has glazing, use MDF or corrugated cardboard to cover the glass while in transit. These can be purchased on our website or in our studio.
Using your packaging:
First, bubble wrap the item. If a frame has glazing - use MDF, or corrugated cardboard to cover the glass while in transit. Secure extra bubble wrap or card for the corners.
Using a dedicated T-Frame or art crate:
Custom crates for fragile or high-value artworks, robust boxes built to ISPM 15 standards, are ideal for transporting art globally. T-frames are a cost-effective solution for transporting single paintings using a same-day courier.
Flat or rolled artwork
If the artwork is small enough to be packed flat, wrap the item with an artwork sleeve, cello bag or tissue paper. Ensure your envelope or parcel is robust and include enough envelope stiffeners so it won't bend.
If your artwork needs to be rolled, postal tubes provide excellent protection. Ensure you don't crease your artwork when rolling - postal tubes are available in wider diameters, such as 75 to 100mm. Include enough tissue paper on either end to stop your original from denting.
2. Getting your artwork to us
You can arrange delivery of artwork yourself via:
- via a standard same-day courier, such as Gophr.
- via a standard overnight courier, such as DPD or Royal Mail.
- via a specialist art courier.
or contact us to arrange a collection for you.
Ensure you include your full contact details (and order number or support ticket reference if you have one) on the outside and/or enclosed in the package.

Storage of artworks
We have limited space and insurance coverage for artwork at our studio and would like to collect or deliver your originals quickly. If your artwork is not collected within three weeks of approval of digitisation, we reserve the right to charge £15 per week per consignment for storage and insurance after that.
4. Returning your artwork
If you cannot collect your artwork, we can repack and return your originals using our boxes (unless your packaging is safe to reuse). Please see below for an estimate of the costs to return your artwork via overnight courier (or same-day courier if it's local enough).
The maximum total consignment value via this method is £800 - we recommend collecting or using a same-day courier for artworks over this value.
